Hi I'm Andy Knight and this is my blog about a crazy year long challenge I have set myself.
By doing a different endurance challenge each month I hope to raise awareness and money for Springboard Opportunity Group who do
great work with disabled children and provide amazing support for their families.

Run Forest run!

So a week today sees me take on my 3rd challenge which is the new forest off road 50k ultra.

This event is part of the new forest festival which is a 2 day running event that has a number of different events and distances all within the new forest.

I plan to have a light week of training ahead of the weekend, I think I'm getting a pre race ritual sorted now although I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing or is just that I'm a bit superstitious.

With February being a shorter month I didn't break the 200 miles for the month but I did complete a respectable 184 miles.

This has now taken my mileage count to 838miles since 22nd October when I started training for the first challenge.

As you can see training continues to go well although after 124hours of running I have now started to get a slight pain around my knee cap.

I must say I am starting to look forward to getting on the bike an the end of April to give the knees a bit of a rest.

Well that's it for now but I'll give an update the day before the challenge.

As you know I'm doing these challenges to raise money for Springboard Opportunity Group. You can make a donation by clicking the My Donate logo on the web version of the blog.
